Essex appeal to house buyers outside of county.
The Essex appeal remains strong as the majority of buyers of property are now moving in from outside the county, in fact new data from Beresfords Estate Agents reveals that figure to be about 60% of the total number of home buyers in Essex.
The strength of demand in Essex is supported by numbers of buyers moving out from neighbouring London where house prices can be as much as 50% more expensive, analysis of buyer’s migratory patterns by Beresfords revealed more home buyers are moving into Essex as opposed to those buying within the county.
Chairman of Beresfords Paul Beresford, in his comments reportedly said: “Essex’s beautiful countryside and excellent commuter links are definitely a pull for potential purchasers.
“However, I believe Beresfords approach to property marketing has had a major impact on these stats.
“By clearly understanding the needs of our clients, we are able to match purchasers with properties in areas they are unfamiliar with, thanks to our extensive network of branches across Essex and into Greater London.”
