House prices in Ireland have risen 83% since 2013
Astonishing figures recently released by the Central Statistics Office shows that house prices have sky rocketed 83% since 2013 in Ireland with Dublin seeing figures doubled since 2012 and reporting in with a 96% increase.
The pace of increase is said to be slowing though still with no immediate adjustment in property values – mixed in with rental price increases it is becoming very gloomy for those looking to enter the property market such as first time buyers who are generally priced out of the market.
A slow down is being seeing in that figures for November 2018 showed that the annual rate of price growth in Dublin stood at 5% compared to over 11% back in 2017.
