On-site leaders

Many top businesses recognise and put extreme value on having strong leaders in their organisation. These are the type of people who can motivate and mentor staff to get the absolute best out of the workforce. Leaders can also nurture emerging talent from teams and may be able to allow them to gain new skills and knowledge by assisting in projects that are outside their current scope of practice. This allows all employees to understand other staff and team roles better whilst reducing the demoralising effects of duplicating workstreams. Silo working is recognised as leading to feelings of isolation in the workforce. It can result in dissatisfaction with the company and the culture, eventually reducing motivation and productivity.
