Jonathan Waters Estate Agents leaves tenants and landlords £30,000 out of pocket

A news report on the Ipswich Star website explains how an estate agency in Ipswich has left both tenants and landlords out of pocket following going in to liquidation. £30,000 of deposits have supposedly gone missing though should have gone in to the government backed protection scheme in order to safe guard the money.

The company was founded by Jonathan Walters in 2002 and was sold to current owner and director Jane Russell in 2014.

Ipswich MP, Sandy Martin, said that he knows about the unfortunate situation and the ongoing complaints – he hoped police would take action: “I will be raising this with Ipswich’s chief superintendent when I meet her next,
