Lettings Manager jailed for 3 years after stealing £300,000

Kissing stolen cash on CCTV‘ was the nail in the coffin for Robert Parker who was caught on camera stealing  more than £300,000 from his estate agent employer ( Nina Estate Agents in Barry).

Nina Chivers, owner of Nina Estate Agents, decided to investigate things when a £200,000 tax bill arrived from the HMRC and an undercover forensic investigation was carried out on Robert Parker who had been an employee since 2009. It is reported that the theft was down to a gambling addiction and debts occurring from it – It was suggested that the total amount stolen was £650,000 though the crown prosecutors could not prove this figure upon the evidence given.
