Local authority forum for landlords and letting Agents

South Holland District Council are putting on a special afternoon event especially for Landlords and Letting Agents, this is part of Council’s popular information and networking events.

The event takes place on the 13th July at the council’s offices in Priory Road, Spalding from 4pm until 6p, this event the event will give landlords a chance to talk with housing professionals from the council, network with other landlords and investors, and hear a number of presentations on relevant matters, a speaker from the National Landlords Association will be present.

There will also be presentations on new support services for tenants, landlord accreditation, and how landlords can benefit from government schemes to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

A spokesman for the council said: “We’re committed to working with landlords and letting agents to help explain changes in legislation and sharing useful advice and information. the forums are a great chance for local landlords to come together, learn new information and make contact with members of our housing team in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

This is a great idea by  South Holland District Council, lots of changes are taking place within the rented housing sector and putting out as much information as possible to Landlords and Lettings Agents is so important, let’s hope this catches on with other councils.
