NFL Star Players and Their Houses

The NFL is extremely popular in the US, and it’s no wonder that the best players are paid massive amounts, similar to football players in Europe. It’s also a popular sport to wager on, and NFL week 9 odds give you an idea of how the teams are expected to perform.

With all the money that surrounds the NFL, you can expect players to have some impressive houses. Here are a few of the most spectacularly expensive mansions owned or sold by NFL star players.

Matthew Stafford

The Rams quarterback moved to LA in 2021 and sold his Hidden Hills mansion for $21 million. The architecture firm 64North is responsible for the design, and the home showcases six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It also features a luxury movie theatre and a fitness centre with a wellness suite, which is essential for a successful athlete. This includes a massage room and steam shower.

If all this isn’t enough, the house also has temperature-controlled wine rooms, one for white and the other for red wine. A six-car garage features lifts to accommodate up to 12 cars. The property also has a separate guest house.

The 15,000 square feet of living space is split into two levels and situated on a two-acre property, and the home is a modern farmhouse with Napa Valley elements. Famous neighbours include Kylie Jenner and Aaron Donald.

Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp, another Rams player, sold his house for $5.3 million. The home has Mediterranean influences with five bedrooms and six half bathrooms. The house has a stunning wood-panelled library, a wet bar that opens to an el fresco entertainment area, and a beautiful gourmet kitchen.

The master bedroom has a stunning sitting area, glass-encased shower and a fireplace next to the bath. The room has two walk-in closets and a separate gym.

The entire house has a wraparound patio looking out over the beautiful 1.6 acres of outdoor space. It also features a pool, spa and cabana with a fireplace and built-in barbeque.

The house is in a gated community with Heather Locklear and Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney, as some of the celebrity neighbours.

Russel Wilson

As the highest-paid NFL player, it’s no surprise that Russel Wilson bought this beauty in Colorado for $25 million. The house has 20,060 square feet of space, with four bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and five half bathrooms. When you enter the house, you walk into a double-height foyer with a breathtaking floating circular staircase. There’s also a beautiful formal dining room and a library.

The house has a magnificent view of the Front Range, with a serene pond and waterfall, an outdoor fireplace and a detached garage with a guesthouse on top.

An indoor swimming pool, gym or yoga area overlooks a basketball court and a fantastic screening room. There’s almost no end to this house’s luxury, with multiple entertainment areas, fireplaces and even a private football field.

David Bakhtiari

While not playing that much football since an injury to his ACL in 2020, David Bakhtiari still managed to sell his stunning house for $6.3 million. The California home has a massive 7,113 square feet of floor space, with six bedrooms and eight full bathrooms.

The circular driveway leads up to the front door, which opens into a 24-foot foyer with an impressive floating glass and steel staircase. The luxury doesn’t end there. The house has a fabulous movie theatre, spacious family room and a gourmet eat-in kitchen. The lot is only 0.48 acres, but every inch of the space is used well, with a sunken fire pit, pool and spa outside the house.

Final Thoughts

These houses are some of the most luxurious and best on the market. Real estate is always a good investment, and these houses are top-of-the-range in luxury and style. These houses are some of the most luxurious and best on the market. While not all NFL players sold their stunning houses at a profit, it’s still massive real estate investment following some of the biggest names in football. Each player moved their families to equally impressive houses, knowing when it was time to move to a new home.
