Rents in UK rose by 2.1% for October compared to same month last year according to Homelet

The latest HomeLet Rental Index – October 2018 reveals that rents in the UK rose by 2.1% in October compared to the same month a year ago.
The report also reveals that the average monthly rent now stands at £928 a month. When London is excluded, the average UK rental value was £768 in October 2018, this is up 1.7% on last year.
The average rents in London (£1,619) were 110.8% higher than the rest of the UK according to Homelet.
