Rogue Tenant

An illegal immigrant was arrested and will now face prison with the possibilty of deportation.

Ashid Bomedian a Morrocan national assaulted the owner of his rental property after the landlord reported him to the police for suspected bicycle theft. He took the bicycle from outside a city restaurant and returned back to the property in Wolverhampton, it was then the landlord called the police,  the tenant committed the assault by kicking and punching the landlord for reporting him.

The rogue tenant was arrested and taken into custody later that night, but fled despite being tasered after officers requested his passport. A follow up search for him was made whereby he was found and charged with the offence of causing actual bodily harm, escaping from custody and theft which he finally admitted to.

Jailing him for eight months, Judge Michael Challinor told him: ‘You will serve half of your sentence and then I anticipate you will be deported.’

I personally doubt he will get deported but just get added to the list of those  who never  do get deported for one reason or another, if so a very light sentence for such a crime.
