Standford-le-Hope in Essex sees New Modular Homes

With ever increasing demands for new homes and especially those which are affordable, then many will be pleased to hear of 130 new homes for the Essex town of Standford-le-Hope. Sustainability in many industries is always welcomed.

Modular homes are what have been passed and will be supplied by Ilke Homes – The site is a 15 acre plot that will have 153 new homes provided that will be offered as shared ownership / affordable rentals.

Tom Heathcote, executive director of development at Ilke Homes, is repeated as saying: “This scheme will demonstrate that offsite manufacturing is capable of delivering beautiful places thanks to flexible designs that can react to different streetscapes and local character.
