Teaching Estate and Letting Agents How To Use Video To Get More Listings/New Stock

Written by Christopher Watkin on - Marketing -

After going around the UK, here are some clips from Christopher Watkin and his team from Property Video Solutions .. teaching agents how to feel comfortable in front of the camera (so you dont feel daft and stupid), How to Edit, Add Graphs everything .. so you can do it yourself.

We have shown the agents how to be accurate, precise, detail-oriented, and conscientious as the course is very analytically and systematic.

It will enable them to make videos carefully with plenty of research and information to back it up.

I want to ensure you are all in the best place to meet the challenges we have in Lettings and Estate Agency

The most important strategy in estate and letting agency marketing today is video. Whether it’s video on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or Youtube, the content you need to be thinking about creating and marketing on social for your estate/lettings business is video. Fact.
No matter how big or small an agent you are, no matter whether you are a town or city agent, if you don’t have a video marketing strategy for the biggest video platforms, you are going to lose.

And in case you haven’t noticed, the platforms of distribution for video content online have shifted drastically over the last couple of years.
Facebook is getting more daily minutes watched than YouTube, Linkedins daily views are now in the millions, and video on Twitter has taken listening and one to one branding to a whole new level.

Now, maybe I’ve scared you a bit, but don’t worry because I’m here, with Matt and Chris from Property Video Solutions to make sure you understand the whole process and ensure you feel safe (and not stupid) doing videos!

Thank you for watching

kind regards

Christopher

I teach, guide, support, mentor, consult, counsel, partner many hundreds of UK Estate and Letting Agents in their quest to grow their estate and lettings agencies business.

Old school techniques of touting, landlords wanted leaflets, ring us for a free valuation, we have sold this in your street leaflets don't work anymore. There are too many competitor agents .. meaning cheap fees are epidemic, overvaluing is almost a norm to get the stock and don’t even mention about the online/hybrid threat.

So a few years ago, I set about looking around the UK and spotted that certain agents (not many mind you) in certain towns were still seen as the ‘go to person on property’, the person the newspaper editor rang up every week for a comment and I looked at what they did and they were doing some thing quite remarkable…. Only one thing but they were doing it so well .. and reaping the reward in terms of decent listings and decent fees, happy staff, decent sales pipeline and exchange income, managed lettings portfolios in the many hundreds .. but more importantly, they really enjoyed the job… they enjoyed getting up in the morning and people looked up to them

Over 400 agents around the UK are on a mission to change the way our Estate and Lettings agency profession is perceived and looked upon, doing it town by town, city by city. I guide these 400 agents, teach them, mentor them and support them to be seen in a different light, to be seen as the ‘go to person for property’, actually be the ‘local property expert’ and prove it.
