UK house price growth slowed noticeably as 2018 drew to aclose according to Nationwide
Latest Nationwide House Price Index report – December 2018 reveals that house price growth slows to just 0.5% in 2018, down from 2.6% in 2017.
Annual house price growth slows to its weakest pace since February 2013 with outer Metropolitan and London regions both recording small house price declines in 2018 according to Nationwide.
Commenting on the figures, Robert Gardner,Nationwide’s Chief Economist, said:
