how to present your property for sale

Sponsored content, paid for by Domovita.

More than 10,000 people a month come to Domovita, and nearly nine in ten of them arrive on a sold-price page for one particular street, looking up what the houses there went for. You can look up your own patch here.

What those people don’t find yet is enough homes for sale or to let. Listings are the newest part of the site and still the smallest, and that’s where you come in.

Free to list. Every branch, every listing.

Domovita does not charge estate agents to be on it. There is no subscription, no per-branch fee, nothing to sign and no notice to give. Sales and lettings, one branch or several.

How it works

  • Apply. Your company name and number, your branch address and your redress scheme.
  • A person checks it. We confirm the company at Companies House and check your redress membership before anything goes live.
  • Connect your listings. Point your CRM at us, send a feed, drop files on an SFTP account we host for you, or add properties by hand. Updates are pulled on a schedule, so a price change or a sale agreed in your CRM reaches the listing without anyone re-typing it.
  • Take enquiries. Buyer enquiries land in your branch dashboard and your inbox, and we never charge you for the contact.

What every listing carries

The things a buyer would otherwise open five other tabs to find are already on your property page: flood risk, energy rating and running costs, broadband speeds, council tax band, nearby sold prices and air quality. Each figure comes from a named official source – the Environment Agency, the government EPC register, Ofcom, the VOA, HM Land Registry and DEFRA. You don’t add them, maintain them or pay for them.

Three commitments

  • We will never charge you to list. There is no invoice coming and nothing to cancel.
  • The only paid position is the labelled one. The buyer’s filters decide which properties appear, and the buyer picks the sort. The one placement anyone can pay for is the Featured slot, capped per area and labelled as a paid promotion wherever it appears.
  • We will never auction a lead. A valuation enquiry is offered to the agents covering that area on a fair rotation. Nobody can buy their way to the front of it.

If you’re wondering how a free portal pays its way: through that optional Featured slot, and through partner offers for people moving home, like broadband and furniture. Never by charging agents to list.
