- Make a checklist
You can’t possibly forget to do this step. It’s one of the most important things to do before starting a move. Get a notebook or a sheet of paper and make a list of all the tasks that need doing before, during and after your move. - Get packing
You can’t forget the packing when you move house. So either hire a professional company for packing or do it yourself. If you are going to do it yourself, make sure you purchase all the necessary packing materials like sturdy boxes, tape, labels and so on. Then, get your things organized and pack each box according to each room so that it will be easy to unpack them at your new home. And, whatever you do, make sure you tape all the boxes up well and don’t forget to label each box according to the room.
