500 homes planned for Aberdeen suburb
A New coastal community for the Aberdeen suburb of Bridge of Don is planned which will see 500 new homes comes in to the area, of 500+ homes planned for Bridge of Don. The area has seen a big growth over recent years in population to where it now is bigger than neighbouring Banchory, Ellon and Peterhead. The land targeted for the development is east of the A90 on Ellon Road which lays close to local businesses and industrial parks.
Cognito Oak LLP have opened up discussions for the development which will include affordable units, shops, community facilities and a recycling centre.
Chris Comfort, a partner at Aberdein Considine, said: “There’s no doubt optimism across the city has been rising for the last few months and various economic factors, not least the upturn in the oil and gas sector, tend to back that up.”
