Connells sniffing out COUNTRYWIDE PLC (CWD)

Buyouts can be music to many an investors ear, it can send share prices shooting towards the stars and the excitement they bring can add much positive PR boosts for the brands in question.

Countrywide PLC have had a somewhat rocky ride in recent years and only recently were juggling bone china plates with much concern on whether they would go under or not.

A strong brand and certainly widely known to the consumer markets across the UK, it would be a great addition to any property themed takeover plan – Connells currently are reported to be in the field of a buyout view that has seen a serge in the Countrywide PLC share price of 45% sitting currently at 204.34.

“In the meantime, the Board will continue to engage with its shareholders to examine all potential options to deliver a sustainable capital structure for the Company and to maximise shareholder value,” Countrywide said as reported on MarketScreener website
