‘OnTheMarket provides high quality leads & progress is impressive’, say agents.

News provided to Estate Agent Networking from Agents Mutual:

Member agents of OnTheMarket.com have revealed how the portal is providing them with high quality leads and remain impressed with its strengths and achievements in just nine months.

Their testimonials – which can be viewed here – raise many points about what the portal is achieving for them. These include the following:

  • OnTheMarket.com provides high quality leads to member agents
  • Consumers have given excellent feedback about how easy the website is to use on desktop and mobile
  • The public’s awareness of OnTheMarket.com continues to increase
  • They have not lost any business from dropping a portal

In one account, Vic Chott from Woodland, a two branch firm with offices in Ilford and Newbury Park, south east London, said: “We have been with OnTheMarket.com since it launched in January 2015 and are very impressed with its rapid growth in such a short space of time…..we are still winning instructions and selling homes and so is every other agent we know who has joined OnTheMarket.com.”

John Payne from Payne Associates in Coventry, a four office firm, stated: “Getting on board with the only agent-owned portal is about having courage behind your convictions, of course we had hesitations about joining but these have proved to be unfounded… We feel that OnTheMarket.com is the easiest and clearest portal to use and our customers have noticed this too.”

Simon Brown, Partner and Head of Estate Agency at CKD Galbraith in Scotland with 11 offices, said: “We are pleased with the level of leads provided by OnTheMarket.com and these account for around 25 per cent of the total supplied to us, 50 per cent are from Rightmove and the remaining 25 per cent are from our websites, walk-ins and advertising….Agents who have yet to join must not succumb to the spin put out and current members must persevere and persuade other agents to join and communicate the long term benefits which will give OnTheMarket.com time to build.”

Kelvin Francis from Kelvin Francis, a two branch firm in south east Wales, said: “We had no hesitations about joining and we have no regrets now because we are receiving good quality leads. We removed our properties from Zoopla and this has not affected our business.”

Estate agent Edward Foley, owner of Winkworth in Wimbledon, said: “I would encourage agents who are not yet members (of OnTheMarket.com) to have a serious re-think. Many made their decisions at a time when detractors claimed OnTheMarket.com would fade out in a matter of months and of course, it hasn’t.”

Ian Springett, Chief Executive of OnTheMarket.com: “This excellent feedback from member agents proves just how much OnTheMarket.com has achieved in nine months.

“We are told by many members that the leads we provide are of excellent quality and are from genuine house-hunters and vendors.

“Only nine months since launch, this is still only the beginning and we look forward to welcoming new members, building on lead volumes for existing members and continuing to provide a superior digital platform which is clean and clear for consumers.”
