Laura Hamilton to present Guild Awards at the Annual Guild Conference

The Guild of Property Professionals is thrilled to announce that Laura Hamilton, renowned TV Presenter, Property and Travel Expert, and Entrepreneur, will be presenting the Guild Awards at the Annual Guild Conference and Awards Gala on 22 March 2024, at The QEII Centre in Westminster, London.

Titled “Sharing Success,” the full-day conference promises to bring together innovative and passionate Guild Members alongside industry pioneers for an event exclusive to The Guild’s network. The conference, spearheaded by Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, will focus on championing industry successes both within and outside the network.

McKenzie remarked, “This year’s Annual Conference will spotlight industry legends across sales and lettings, providing Members with invaluable networking opportunities and insights to navigate the evolving property market. We aim to equip our Members with practical knowledge and inspiration for the year ahead.”

Highlighting the accomplishments of Guild Members throughout 2023, despite market challenges, McKenzie emphasised the importance of recognising and honouring agents who have gone above and beyond for their clients and the industry. The presentation of the Guild Awards during the afternoon session will serve as a testament to these achievements.

Laura Hamilton, with her extensive experience in television, property, and entrepreneurship, brings a dynamic presence to the event. Starting her career in television at the age of 18, Hamilton has worked both behind the scenes and in front of the camera on various iconic shows. Although probably best known for presenting Channel 4’s A Place in The Sun, Hamilton has presented a number of shows for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, which include ‘Beat my Build’, ‘Cowboy Builders and Bodge Jobs’, and series five of ‘Fort Boyard.’ She is now a regular face on ITV’s This Morning presenting Live features on location.

Alongside her television career, Hamilton discovered a passion for property, renovating her first flat at 19. Subsequently, she has developed 19 properties to date, which includes a commercial venture in 2017. In 2022, she started renovating her current home and has filmed the process calling it ‘The Rebuild’.

With her diverse background, including taking part in the first series of ‘The Jump’ and being crowned runner-up on ‘Dancing on Ice’, Hamilton embodies the spirit of embracing challenges. Despite her busy schedule, she remains dedicated to supporting others, including offering guidance to fellow sufferers of ITP, an autoimmune disease she herself battles.

“I’m excited to be part of the Annual Guild Conference and Awards Gala,” Hamilton expressed. “It’s an honour to recognise the outstanding achievements of Guild Members and contribute to an event dedicated to sharing success and fostering industry innovation.”

McKenzie concludes by saying, “We are excited to have Laura Hamilton as our presenter for The Guild Awards. Her energy and expertise will undoubtedly elevate the event to new heights. We’re eager to celebrate alongside our award winners and recognise the outstanding contributions within our industry. Laura’s presence will undoubtedly make the evening even more memorable. Here’s to a fantastic celebration ahead.”
