New estate agents open in London every other day.

Statistics published by the online estate agent HouseSimple.com show that a new estate agent opens somewhere in the capital every 1.6 days, Ealing Broadway and Turnham Green are west London’s hot spots, there are 17 property vendors within a quarter of a mile of each station, more than anywhere in London except Walthamstow, Borough and Wimbledon stations.

The report  says there are now almost 2,900 high street estate agents in Greater London, up from 2,661 in February 2015.

Alex Gosling, CEO of HouseSimple.com reportedly said: “Estate agents have been making hay while the sun shines, opening more than 200 new offices in just 12 months.

“It’s not surprising, when just one office can make hundreds of thousands of pounds in fees in a year. London high streets are literally paved with property gold.”
