ONTHEMARKET.COM LAUNCHES OVERSEAS PROPERTY CHANNEL

Property portal OnTheMarket.com is now listing overseas properties for sale on a dedicated channel.

Aligned with the UK search, the channel does not carry third party advertising, nor any unnecessary information. Overseas search results are presented in grid, map and list views, as well as a new combined grid and map view. All properties are plotted to their exact location on detailed maps using latitude longitude coordinates and a map is available on every full details page.

A ‘draw’ search facility will be available with the ability to create up to 10 different areas within a single search. These can also be saved and used for property searches.

There are seven different currency options available and property price is presented in the currency selected by the property seeker as well as the currency provided by the agent.

Both existing member agents and non-member agents can advertise their overseas properties at OnTheMarket.com. There is a discounted tariff for member firms. The one other portal rule – established to disrupt the duopolistic market place in the UK – does not apply.

In line with OnTheMarket.com’s policy, listings from online-only agents will not be accepted.

Ian Springett, Chief Executive of OnTheMarket.com, said: “It is exciting to launch our new overseas channel which already lists thousands of properties for sale and complements our existing UK offering.

“This is yet another sign of growth for OnTheMarket.com and we are looking forward to working with new agents from different corners of the globe to list their marketed properties.”

Agents who would like to list their overseas properties at OnTheMarket.com should email overseas@agentsmutual.co.uk
