Property valuation leads to agents up 55%

Rightmove, the UK’s largest property portal, has reported a 55% year-to-date uplift in property valuation leads for agents compared with the same period last year (January – May).

The uplift follows the launch of Online Agent Valuation in late 2025, designed to help agents engage more effectively with prospective sellers, alongside a series of AI enhancements across Rightmove’s valuation tools.

Online Agent Valuation connects agents with motivated homeowners who choose to begin their selling journey online, before arranging an in-person valuation. It complements Rightmove’s wider valuation suite, which has been enhanced to help agents prioritise high-quality opportunities and allows agents to spend more time applying their local expertise to win instructions.

Online Agent Valuation also includes an AI-powered writing assistant, which helps agents quickly create personalised responses to prospective sellers, making it easier to engage with leads at speed.

David Anderson, Director at Rightmove, said:

“While more home-movers are choosing to start their selling journey online, they want contact with a local expert as early as possible. Our Online Agent Valuation product is designed to meet that need, helping agents connect with motivated sellers in a way that’s both quick and personal.

“Combined with enhancements to our wider valuation tools, we’re helping agents manage leads more efficiently and focus their time where it matters most, building relationships and winning new instructions.”

Rightmove’s valuation suite also includes:

  • Rightmove Discover, an email product which has been enhanced with AI to predict even more accurately whether homeowners might be ready to sell, giving agents an effective way to reach sellers earlier in their journey
  • Opportunity Manager, an interactive dashboard that helps prioritise prospective vendor leads for agents – recent AI enhancements have improved the vendor prediction methodology and opened up a bigger pool of potential sellers
  • Local Valuation Alert, the most established valuation product which enables agents to get in front of prospective sellers at the moment they are considering selling to offer in-person valuations
  • Best Price Guide, the most popular tool in Rightmove Plus that draws on millions of live and historic property data points, so agents can quickly and easily create and share detailed digital valuation reports with potential vendors in a few clicks
  • Premium Price Guide, builds on the Best Price Guide by giving agents access to more data, and real-time notifications letting agents know the moment their valuation reports have been viewed by potential sellers
  • Instant Valuation, the first step for homeowners to get a property estimate before engaging with a local agent for a bespoke valuation, powered by Rightmove data and data from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland
