Rightmove to host live Q&A webinar on the Renters’ Rights Act
Rightmove is hosting a live Q&A webinar today to help agents better understand the Renters’ Rights Act and its practical implications as the Act takes effect.
The Renters’ Rights Act: Live Q&A webinar will take place on Tuesday 5th May from 10:00am to 11:00am and will be available to watch via the Rightmove Hub.
Over 1,000 agents are already signed up to today’s webinar, as Rightmove continues to invest in education, tools and training to help agents keep up with an ever-changing landscape of legislation and customer expectations.
Attendees will get access to a free trial of Tenancy Manager, Rightmove’s lettings progression tool, which has recently been updated to ensure it is Renters’ Rights ready.
Delivered in collaboration with Training For Professionals (TFP), the session will give agents the opportunity to put their most pressing questions directly to industry experts.
David d’Orton‑Gibson, Managing Director at Training for Professionals, has decades of hands‑on lettings experience, including running his own lettings company, and has trained thousands of landlords, agents and housing organisations across England and Wales.
Attendees will also get early access to 12 practical guides which break down the Act into easy‑to‑use summaries – from student lets and rent reviews to pets and ending a tenancy.
Jason Charles, head of education at Rightmove, said: “The Renters’ Rights Act represents one of the biggest changes the lettings industry has seen in a generation, and it’s vital that agents feel confident about what it means in practice. This live Q&A gives agents the chance to get clarity on the questions they’re facing right now, straight from experts who understand the realities of working in the sector.”
