U-Turns and Roundabouts – Governments’ Tier means no real change:
November 24, 2020
Paul Offley, Compliance Officer at The Guild of Property Professionals:
As expected there is no real change for our industry under the new Tier restrictions. Agents have been working hard for many months to ensure that they can continue to provide a professional service to sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants in a fully Covid-secure way and we are delighted that this has been recognised in the latest tier restrictions to allow the home moving process to continue.
Clarification on restrictions in tiers across England from 2nd December 2020:
Summary:
- Exemption across all tiers for home moving activities
- Travel permitted across tiers for home moving activities
- Agencies can remain open
