If you make sure that it has things like a microwave, a fridge and an espresso machine, it’s going to be comfortable enough for everyone to have their breaks in, and bring their lunch etc. It’s a place that they can go to relax so that they don’t have to have their breaks at their desks like so many people do right now.

Having a break room will increase productivity as there will be a clear divide between workspace and personal space. The break room will be the place where everyone can go to chat and socialize during their break hours, whereas the desks are for working! Easy To Commute To

Ideally, you want your business office to be easy to commute to so that life for your employees is much simpler. You want your business office to be accessible to all of your employees whether they drive, take the bus or even the train to work. Of course, public transport might mean a little bit of a walk, but that just means you want to be closer to the public transport links rather than far away. Getting a taxi after already having to get on the bus or the train can be a nightmare, especially during rush hour times, so try to factor that in.

In some cases, you’re not going to be able to do much about the commute, but you can offer some remote positions like we mentioned above where possible. You can also offer compensation to your employees for their travels such as paying a certain amount to make it easier for them.

Clean And Healthy

The final thing that we’re going to be saying is that you should be keeping your business clean and up to health and safety standards at all times. Ideally you should be hiring either someone in house or an entire cleaning company to come and keep your office in good condition. Your employees should not be subjected to a dirty work environment for any reason, though they should also be doing their part to keep it in good condition.

The business office needs to be cleaned at the end of every single day, ready for the new one. It should also be seen to throughout the day to ensure that rubbish is being picked up, to ensure that the space is clean. Any spills need to be mopped up immediately as they are considered a health and safety hazard, and you also need to account for anything else. This is why having a team on site is going to be your best option, and ideally a team that is trained in the health and safety standard of a business office.

Make sure that you have all of the right equipment to keep the business office in the best condition. This includes wet floor signs, mops, buckets, paper towels, cleaning products and so much more. It can be quite costly, but it’ll be worth it.
