ONTHEMARKET.COM LAUNCHES COMMERCIAL PROPERTY CHANNEL

Property portalÿOnTheMarket.comÿis now listing UKÿcommercialÿproperties to rent and for sale on a dedicated new channel.

Closely aligned with its UK residential search and its overseas search, the focus of theÿcommercialÿproperty channel is on the all-important property details. It does not carry distracting advertising or any unnecessary information.ÿCommercialÿsearch results are presented in grid, list and map views.

A _draw search’ option allows users to create up to 10 different areas within a single search. These can also be saved and used to set up instant property alerts.

For its launch, the channel displaysÿcommercialÿproperties of agents already listing UK residential properties atÿOnTheMarket.com and supplyingÿcommercialÿproperties within their feeds. The service will also be offered at no additional cost until the end of 2017 to all other firms which list at OnTheMarket.com.

The “one other portal rule” – established to disrupt the UK residential portals market overwhelmingly dominated by two players – does not apply.

In line withÿOnTheMarket.com_s policy,ÿcommercialÿproperty listings from online-only agents will not be accepted.

Other estate and letting agents will also be able to list theirÿcommercialÿproperties atÿOnTheMarket.comÿand can find out more by contactingÿcommercial@agentsmutual.co.uk.

Ian Springett, Chief Executive ofÿOnTheMarket.com, said: _It is exciting to launch our newÿcommercialÿproperty channel toÿcomplement our existing residential UK and overseas searches.

_It is a service which many of our member firms have actively encouraged us to develop and it representsÿyet another sign of growth and strategic intent for OnTheMarket.com. We areÿlooking forward to working with agents to build a high-quality search experience forÿcommercialÿproperty-seekers.”
