Modular affordable housing units gets £12.9 million boost

Home Group is set to purchase 49 modular affordable housing units in a deal worth around £13 million that also includes 13 town houses. The location is in Chatham, Kent and the project will be delivered by modular developer Top Hat.

Home Group is said to have a portfolio already of over 50,000 properties and will see more added with this latest venture that will consist of one and two bedroom units for shared ownership – All will be overseen by Knight Frank’s affordable housing investment team.
